Do I need a new website, or can you improve my current one?

Not always. If your current website has a solid foundation, DARR Designs can often improve its design, content, performance, SEO and functionality without starting over. If the site is outdated, difficult to manage or built on a platform that is limiting your growth, we may recommend a redesign or rebuild.

How much does a new website cost?

Website pricing depends on the size, design, functionality and services your project requires. DARR Designs offers website solutions for a variety of budgets, from smaller informational websites to larger custom business and organization websites. After learning about your needs, we’ll recommend the most appropriate option and provide clear pricing before work begins.

How long does it take to design and launch a website?

Most website timelines depend on the size of the project, required functionality and how quickly content and approvals are provided. Smaller websites can often be completed relatively quickly, while larger or more complex projects require additional time. We’ll establish an expected timeline with you before development begins.

What is the difference between Website Care and Website Management?

Website Care focuses on keeping the technical foundation of your website secure, updated, backed up and online. Website Management includes Website Care plus ongoing hands-on service and update time from DARR Designs. Management is ideal for clients who want us actively involved in maintaining and updating their website.

Can DARR Designs handle my hosting, domain and business email?

Yes. DARR Designs can provide and manage website hosting, domain registration and renewal, SSL, security and professional business email. If you prefer to purchase and manage these services yourself, you can also use our online storefront.

What happens if my website goes down or has a technical problem?

Clients with Website Care or Website Management receive technical hosting support and website monitoring. If we identify a hosting or website-related issue covered by your service, we’ll work to diagnose and resolve it as quickly as reasonably possible. Additional development or repair work outside your plan may be quoted separately.

How do I request changes or updates to my website?

Existing clients can submit website update requests directly to DARR Designs. Clients with Website Management may have service/update time included with their plan. For Website Care clients and other clients without included update time, requested content or design work can be completed as an additional service.

Can I make changes to my website myself?

In many cases, yes. We can provide appropriate access for clients who want to manage certain content themselves. If you’d rather not worry about making updates—or simply don’t have the time—DARR Designs can handle them for you.

Can you help improve my website's SEO and Google visibility?

Yes. DARR Designs offers SEO and search visibility services that can help improve your website’s technical foundation, content, local search presence and ability to be discovered by potential customers. SEO is an ongoing process, so recommendations depend on your website, market and goals.

Can you redesign or move a website from Wix, Weebly, Squarespace or another platform?

Yes. DARR Designs can redesign or rebuild websites currently hosted on platforms such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace and other website builders. Depending on the platform, the project may involve rebuilding rather than directly transferring the existing site. We’ll recommend the best approach while preserving important content, branding and search visibility whenever possible.

Do you work with businesses and organizations outside of New Jersey?

Absolutely. While DARR Designs is based in New Jersey, we work remotely with businesses, organizations and professionals in other states. Most website projects, meetings, approvals and ongoing services can be handled efficiently online.
